Finally the winter is over and we have managed to get our boats on the water for some early spring fun. Gorgeous spring day down at St Jean Cap Ferrat #rivieraboattours
After a long winter of being stuck on dry land we finally managed to get our boats back on the water at the #PortStJeanCapFerrat.
With the winter behind us we are all looking forward to a great season on boating down here in sunny France.
The sea is starting to invite us back out on the water again now it has calmed down from the winter storms. Today we managed to get out on the water for the first time this season, finding light wind and glassy seas what a great way to kick of our spring.
We thought the best way to kick of the first trip out of the year was to take the boat around to Villefranche Sur Mer passing by the beautiful point of Cap Ferrat #boattoursCapFerrat.
Villefranche Sur Mer is an idyllic French town not far from the City of Nice.
With its lovely French cafes right on the waters edge it is the perfect place to come and relax get a coffee and take in the surroundings.
In the summer when the water warms the bay of Villefranche is a great place to come by boat. With its lovely coves and great anchorages it really is the best place to relax and enjoy the sun and water.
Being the beginning of March however we decided a coffee was on the cards as the water for me is still a little cold. Patrick the skipper did however decide to take a dip in one of the many snorkelling spots all be it not for long, he assured us it was great though!!!
After this we headed back around the the marina in St Jean after a really enjoyable couple of hours on the water.
